अन्नानि प्रात:सवने नियता ब्रह्मबचारिण:
annāni prātaḥsavane niyatā brahmacāriṇaḥ
قال بهيشما: «إنّ البراهماتشارين (الطلاب الناذرين للعفّة) المنضبطين يتناولون طعامهم في شعيرة الصباح، على وجهٍ مضبوطٍ بالقاعدة.»
भीष्म उवाच
That brahmacarya is marked by niyama (regulated discipline), including regulated eating aligned with prescribed daily rites; ethical training begins with control of appetite and adherence to rule.
Bhishma, in his instruction on dharma, describes the conduct of brahmacārins, noting their fixed practice of taking food at the morning observance as part of a disciplined daily regimen.
