Bhūmi-dānasya Māhātmya
The Pre-eminence of Land-Gift
लभते नाम लोके च पितृभिश्न महीयते । देवलोके गतस्यापि नाम तस्य न नश्यति,संसारमें उसका नाम होता है, परलोकमें पितर उसका सम्मान करते हैं तथा देवलोकमें चले जानेपर भी यहाँ उसका नाम नष्ट नहीं होता
labhate nāma loke ca pitṛbhiś ca mahīyate | devaloke gatasya api nāma tasya na naśyati ||
ينال ذلك الرجل اسمًا حسنًا في هذا العالم؛ وفي عالم الأسلاف يُكرَّم من قِبَل البِتْرَة (Pitṛs)؛ وحتى إذا مضى إلى عالم الآلهة فلا تفنى سمعته.
