Adhyāya 60: Dāna vs. Yajña—Royal Giving, Protection, and Karmic Share
पुरुषप्रवर! तब शक्तिशाली राजा युधिष्ठिरने पाण्डवोंसे कहा--“वीरमार्गके विषयमें पितामहका जो कथन है, उसीमें तुम सब लोगोंकी रुचि होनी चाहिये' ।।
tatas tu pāṇḍavāḥ sarve draupadī ca yaśasvinī | yudhiṣṭhirasya tad vākyaṃ bāḍham ity abhipūjayan ||
يا أكرمَ الرجال! قال الملك القوي يودهيشثيرا لأبناء باندو: «في شأن طريق الفروسية، ينبغي أن تميل قلوبكم جميعًا إلى ما قاله الجدّ الأكبر (بهيشما).» فحينئذٍ أكرم جميعُ أبناء باندو، ومعهم دروبدي ذات الذكر الرفيع، كلامَ يودهيشثيرا قائلين: «نِعمَ ما قلت—ليكن كذلك.»
