Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |
muḥyāmīva niśamyādya cintayānaḥ punaḥ punaḥ |
hīnāṃ pārthiva-saṅghātaiḥ śrīmadbhiḥ pṛthivīm imām ||
قال يودهيشثيرا: «يا جدي! حين أسمع هذا وأتأمله، أكاد أفقد الوعي مرة بعد مرة. وإذ أرى هذه الأرض اليوم وقد خلت من جموع الملوك ذوي الثراء والازدهار، يطغى على قلبي همٌّ ثقيل وقلقٌ عظيم».
