अध्याय ५६ — च्यवन–कुशिकसंवादः
Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
तत्रापि राजा प्रीतात्मा यथादिष्टमथाकरोत् । ततो<स्य भगवान् प्रीतो बभूव मुनिसत्तम:
tatrāpi rājā prītātmā yathādiṣṭam athākarot | tato 'sya bhagavān prīto babhūva munisattamaḥ ||
وحتى في ذلك الأمر، كان الملك—وقلبه مفعم بالسرور—يفعل تمامًا ما أُمِر به. لذلك رضي عنه الشيخ الجليل، أفضلُ الزهّاد وأعلاهم مقامًا.
भीष्म उवाच
A ruler should follow righteous instruction with a willing and joyful mind; sincere compliance (not mere outward submission) earns the approval of the wise and strengthens one’s dharma.
Bhishma narrates that King Kushika, even in a difficult or delicate task, carried out the sage’s directive exactly as told; as a result, the revered sage Chyavana became satisfied with him.
