अध्याय ५६ — च्यवन–कुशिकसंवादः
Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
क्लृप्तमेव तु तत्रासीत् स्नानीयं पार्थिवोचितम् । असत्कृत्य च तत् सर्व तत्रैवान्न्तरधीयत
klṛptam eva tu tatrāsīt snānīyaṁ pārthivocitam | asatkṛtya ca tat sarvaṁ tatraivāntaradhīyata ||
قال بهيشما: وكان هناك قد أُعِدَّت سلفاً لوازمُ الاغتسال اللائقة بالملوك. غير أن الحكيم أعرض عنها كلها—من غير أن يستعمل منها شيئاً—ثم اختفى في الموضع نفسه أمام عيني الملك. ومع ذلك لم ينظر الزوجان إليه بعين اللوم، ولم يدخلهما ازدراءٌ للزاهد.
