Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)

निविष्टं गोकुलं यत्र श्वासं मुडचति निर्भयम्‌ । विराजयति त॑ देशं पापं चास्यापकर्षति

niviṣṭaṃ gokulaṃ yatra śvāsaṃ muñcati nirbhayam | virājayati taṃ deśaṃ pāpaṃ cāsya apakarṣati ||

حيثما استقرّت قطيعٌ من الأبقار وتنفسَت آمنةً بلا خوف، ازداد ذلك الموضع بهاءً؛ وهي كذلك تجتذب خطيئة تلك الناحية فتزيلها. وتعرض الآية جماعةَ الأبقار بوصفها حضورًا مُطهِّرًا: فإقامتُها الآمنة غيرُ المُعتدى عليها علامةٌ أخلاقية على الحماية والطهارة ونظام الدَّرما في الأرض.
