यथा रक्षा कृता पूर्व विपुलेन गुरुस्त्रिया: । पुरुषसिंह! पूर्वकालमें मैंने यह सुना था कि प्राचीनकालमें महात्मा विपुलने अपनी गुरुपत्नीकी रक्षा की थी। कैसे की? यह मैं तुम्हें बता रहा हूँ
yathā rakṣā kṛtā pūrvaṁ vipulena gurustrīyāḥ | puruṣasiṁha! pūrvakāle me śrutaṁ yat prācīnakāle mahātmā vipulena svagurupatnyā rakṣā kṛtā | kathaṁ kṛtā? tad ahaṁ te vakṣyāmi |
قال بهيشما: «يا أسدَ الرجال! لقد سمعتُ من سالف الدهر أنّ في الأزمنة الأولى حمى ذو النفس العظيمة فيبولا زوجةَ معلّمه. وكيف صانها—فذلك ما سأقصّه عليك الآن.»
