Viśvāmitra-janma: Ṛcīka–Satyavatī–Gādhi and the Charu Exchange

The verse highlights the ethical weight of intention (cikīrṣitam): desires and plans within a family must be communicated responsibly and then evaluated by wise counsel, because intentions can lead to far-reaching consequences.
Satyavatī quickly goes and reports to the sage Ṛcīka everything, specifically her mother’s intended request/plan. After hearing this, Ṛcīka begins to respond, marking a transition to his guidance.
