शक्रस्त्वमिति यो दैत्यैर्निंगृहीत: किलाभवत् | उनके पुत्रो गृत्समद हुए जो रूपमें दूसरे इन्द्रके समान थे। कहते हैं, किसी समय दैत्योंने उन्हें यह कहते हुए पकड़ लिया था कि “तुम इन्द्र हो"
śakrastvam iti yo daityair niṅgṛhītaḥ kilābhavat |
قال بهيشما: «يُروى أنه أُمسك مرةً على يد الدانافا (الدايتيا)، إذ قبضوا عليه بتهمة: “أنت شَكرا (إندرا)”.»
भीष्म उवाच
Greatness and visible excellence can provoke fear and suspicion; dharmic steadiness requires enduring misjudgment without losing discernment, recognizing that reputation and identity may become causes of adversity.
Bhīṣma recounts a report that certain Daityas captured a person because they believed him to be Śakra (Indra), explicitly stating, “You are Indra,” as the reason for seizing him.
