स रथी बद्धनिस्त्रिंशो बभौ दीप्त इवानल: । प्रययौ स धनुर्धुन्चन्‌ खड्गी चर्मी शरासनी,वह रथपर बैठ गया और कमरमें तलवार बाँधकर प्रज्वलित अग्निके समान उद्धासित होने लगा। ढाल, तलवार और धनुषसे सम्पन्न हो वह धनुषकी टंकार करता हुआ आगे बढ़ा

sa rathī baddha-nistriṁśo babhau dīpta ivānalaḥ | prayayau sa dhanur-dhuñcan khaḍgī carmī śarāsanī ||

قال بهيشما: ركب مركبته الحربية، وقد شدَّ سيفه إلى خصره، فتلألأ كالنار المتأجِّجة. ومعه السيف والترس، وحاملًا قوسه، تقدَّم وهو يُدوّي بقوسه—يمضي بعزمٍ شرسٍ لعسكريٍّ مستعدٍّ لأن يعمل وفق الدَّرْمَا التي اختارها لنفسه.
