ब्राह्मणपूजा-राजधर्मः | Royal Duty of Honoring Learned Brahmins

गड्जाया उत्तरे कूले वप्रान्ते राजसत्तम । गोमत्या दक्षिणे कूले शक्रस्येवामरावतीम्‌,नृपश्रेष्ठट उस नगरीके घेरेका एक छोर गंगाजीके उत्तर तटतक दूसरा छोर गोमतीके दक्षिण किनारेतक फैला हुआ था। वह नगरी इन्द्रकी अमरावतीपुरीके समान जान पड़ती थी

Gaṅgāyā uttare kūle vaprānte rājasattama | Gomatīyā dakṣiṇe kūle Śakrasyevāmarāvatīm ||

قال بهيشما: «يا خيرَ الملوك، كانت تلك المدينة تمتدّ على الضفة الشمالية لنهر الغانغا حتى حافة أسوارها، وتمتدّ كذلك إلى الضفة الجنوبية لنهر الغوماتي. وفي بهائها بدت كأنها أمارافاتي نفسها—مدينة إندرا السماوية».
