Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
भूस्थै: स्वःस्थैर्दिविष्ठै क्ष भूतिरुच्चावचैरपि । गड्जा विगाह्मया सततमेतत् कार्यतमं सताम्
bhūsthaiḥ svaḥsthair diviṣṭhaiś ca bhūtīr uccāvacair api | gaṅgāyāṃ vigāhya satatam etat kāryatamaṃ satām ||
ينبغي لجميع الكائنات—مَن يسكنون الأرض، ومَن استقرّوا في السماء، ومَن يقيمون في العوالم السماوية—صغارًا وكبارًا على السواء، أن يداوموا على الاغتسال والانغماس في الغانغا. فهذا هو أسمى عملٍ عند أهل الصلاح.
सिद्ध उवाच
Regular immersion in the sacred Gaṅgā is praised as a supreme dharmic practice for the virtuous, emphasizing purification and the accumulation of merit as an ideal religious discipline.
A Siddha (a perfected sage) is instructing the listener by extolling the Gaṅgā’s sanctity, stating that beings of every realm and status should continually bathe in her, presenting this as an exemplary act for righteous people.
