Sacred learning and human life become truly meaningful when expressed through dharmic action—especially gratitude to ancestors and reverence to the gods—performed here through tarpaṇa at the Gaṅgā.
A Siddha gives prescriptive counsel: one who seeks the ‘fruit’ of birth, life, and Vedic study should go to the Gaṅgā and perform tarpaṇa offerings to both devas and pitṛs, presenting ritual duty as a completion of learning.
