स्नात्वा तु भरतश्रेष्ठ निर्मल: स्वर्गमाप्तुयात् । भरतश्रेष्ठ) जो नियमपूर्वक उत्तम व्रतका पालन करते हुए माघके महीनेमें प्रयागमें स्नान करता है वह सब पापोंसे मुक्त होकर स्वर्गमें जाता है
snātvā tu bharataśreṣṭha nirmalaḥ svargam āptuyāt |
يا أفضلَ آلِ بهاراتا، من اغتسل هناك تطهّر وبلغ السماء. وفي سياقه يمدح البيتُ فضلَ الوفاء بنذرٍ منضبط والاغتسال في برَياغا في شهر ماغها، جاعلًا ذلك سبيلاً لتطهير الذنوب والخلاص من الآثام.
