न हाल्प॑ दुष्कृतं नो$स्ति येनाग्निनाशमागत: । भवतां चाथवा महां तत्त्वेनेतद्‌ विमृश्यताम्‌,“हमलोगोंका थोड़ा-सा अपराध नहीं है जिससे अग्निदेव अदृश्य हो गये हैं। वह अपराध आपलोगोंका है या मेरा--इसका ठीक-ठीक विचार करें"

na hālpaṃ duṣkṛtaṃ no 'sti yenāgnināśam āgataḥ | bhavatāṃ cāthavā mahān tattvenaitad vimṛśyatām ||

قال بهيشما: «ليس ذنبًا هيّنًا ذاك الذي جعل أغني يختفي عن الأنظار. فتأمّلوا الأمر حقّ التأمّل، على وجه الحقيقة، أهو تقصيرٌ منكم أم منّي.»
