इस प्रकार व्यासनिर्मित श्रीमयहाभारत शतसाहसी संहितारें अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत भीष्मस्वगरिहणपर्वमें दानधर्म तथा भीष्म-युधिष्ठिरसंवादके प्रसंगरें भीष्मजीकी मुक्ति नामक एक सौ अड़्सठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

iti prakāraṃ vyāsa-nirmita-śrī-mahābhārata-śata-sāhasrī-saṃhitāyām anuśāsana-parvaṇi antargate bhīṣma-svargārohaṇa-parvaṇi dāna-dharma tathā bhīṣma-yudhiṣṭhira-saṃvāda-prasaṅge bhīṣma-jī-mukti-nāmaka eka-śata-aṣṭa-ṣaṣṭitamo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ

وهكذا ينتهي الفصل الثامن والستون بعد المئة، المسمّى «تحرّر بهيشما»، ضمن الأنوśāsana parva من المهابهاراتا المجيدة التي ألّفها فياسا—في القسم المتعلّق بصعود بهيشما إلى السماء—في سيااق دارما العطاء (دانا) والحوار بين بهيشما ويودهيشثيرا. ويُثبت هذا الخاتمة (الكولوفون) تمام هذه الوحدة، جاعلاً تحرّر بهيشما ذروةً أخلاقية لتعاليم السخاء والاستقامة.
