Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: evam uktvā kurūn sarvān bhīṣmaḥ śāntanavas tadā | tṛṣṇīṁ babhūva kauravyaḥ sa muhūrtam arindama ||

Translation

قال فايشَمبايانا: لما خاطب بهيشما ابن شانتانو جميع الكورو على هذا النحو، لزم الصمت. يا قاهر الأعداء، لقد اضطجع ذلك الكاورافي ساكنًا برهة—سكونٌ دلّ على ثقل وصيته الأخيرة وعلى اقتراب رحيله في جلالٍ ووقار.
