भीष्म उवाच राजन् विदितधर्मोडसि सुनिर्णीतार्थसंशय: । बहुश्रुता हि ते विप्रा बहव: पर्युपासिता:
bhīṣma uvāca rājann viditadharmo 'si sunirṇītārthasaṁśayaḥ | bahuśrutā hi te viprā bahavaḥ paryupāsitāḥ ||
قال بهيشما: «أيها الملك، إنك لعارفٌ بالدارما معرفةً تامة، وقد حسمتَ بوضوح شكوكك في المقاصد الحقة للحياة. لم يبقَ في ذهنك اضطراب، لأنك لازمتَ بخدمةٍ واجتهادٍ كثيرًا من البراهمة العلماء—ذوي السعة في معرفة الأسفار المقدسة—فانتفعتَ بصحبتهم وتعليمهم».
