रौद्ररूपोंडशुरादित्यो बहुरश्मि: सुवर्चसी । वसुवेगो महावेगो मनोवेगो निशाचर:
raudrarūpo 'ṃśur ādityo bahuraśmiḥ suvarcasī | vasuvego mahāvego manovego niśācaraḥ ||
قال فايودهيفا: «له هيئةٌ رهيبة مهيبة؛ وهو شعاعٌ متألّق، وهو الآدِتْيَة (الشمس)، ذو أشعة لا تُحصى، موفور البهاء. سرعته كسرعة الريح—بل أشد—سريعٌ كالفكر، ويسير في الليل».
