गुरुभ्यस्त्वासनं देयमभिवाद्याभिपूज्य च । गुरुम भ्यर्च्य वर्धन्ते आयुषा यशसा श्रिया
gurubhyas tv āsanaṁ deyam abhivādya abhipūjya ca | gurūn abhyarcya vardhante āyuṣā yaśasā śriyā ||
قال بهيشما: إذا حضر المعلّمون فليُحنِ المرء رأسه لهم، وليُكرمهم بما يليق من التبجيل، ثم ليقدّم لهم مقعدًا. إنّ خدمة الغورو على وجه العبادة تزيد الإنسان عمرًا وسمعةً وخيرًا ورخاءً—وهكذا يصير استقبالهم باحترام ممارسةً ملموسة للدارما.
