अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)

एतत्‌ पदमनुद्धिग्नमेतद्‌ ब्रह्म सनातनम्‌ । शास्त्रवेदाड़विदुषामेतद्‌ ध्यानं परं पदम्‌

etat padam anuddhignam etad brahma sanātanam | śāstra-vedāṅga-viduṣām etad dhyānaṁ paraṁ padam ||

قال فايُو: «هذا هو المقام الذي لا اضطراب فيه ولا انزعاج؛ وهذا هو البراهمن السرمدي. ولمن عرفوا حقًّا الشاسترا والڤيدا مع علومهما المساندة، فهذا وحده هو الغاية العليا—جديرٌ بأن يُتأمَّل فيه بوصفه أسمى ملاذ.»
