अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
अयं स सत्यकामानां सत्यलोक: परं सताम् | अपवर्गश्न मुक्तानां कैवल्यं चात्मवेदिनाम्
ayaṃ sa satyakāmānāṃ satyalokaḥ paraṃ satām | apavargaś ca muktānāṃ kaivalyaṃ cātmavedinām ||
قال فايُو: «هذا حقًّا هو ساتيالوكا—المقام الأعلى لأهل الصلاح الذين يوقّرون الحقّ ويطلبونه. وهو بعينه الأپڤرغا (التحرّر النهائي) للمتحرّرين، وهو الكيڤليا (انفراد الذات انفرادًا مطلقًا) للعارفين بالآتمن حقّ المعرفة.»
वायुदेव उवाच
Truth (satya) is presented not merely as moral speech but as a spiritual orientation: for those devoted to truth, the highest goal is ‘Satyaloka,’ which is equated here with apavarga (mokṣa) and kaivalya (final freedom). The verse identifies the culmination of dharmic living and inner realization as the same ultimate liberation.
Vāyudeva is describing the supreme state or realm attained by the truly virtuous and truth-seeking persons. He characterizes it in multiple synonymous ways—Satyaloka, apavarga, and kaivalya—so the listener understands that the ‘highest world’ being discussed is essentially liberation itself, realized by the Self-knowers.
