भीष्म उवाच
Bhīṣma teaches that engaging with sacred praise—by remembering it, listening to it, or narrating it—constitutes a meritorious dharmic practice that leads to the highest welfare (parama-śreyas).
In the Anuśāsana Parva’s instructional setting, Bhīṣma concludes or reinforces a section describing the greatness of the Mahāpuruṣa (understood as Śrī Kṛṣṇa) with a phalaśruti: a statement of the spiritual benefit gained by those who preserve, hear, or transmit this account.
