कालयुक्तधर्मविवेकः
Discerning Dharma in Accord with Time
जिनके मुँहसे कभी शठतापूर्ण बात नहीं निकलती, जो विरोधयुक्त वाणीका त्याग करते हैं और सदा सौम्य (कोमल) वाणी बोलते हैं, वे मनुष्य स्वर्गगामी होते हैं ।।
na kopād vyāharanti ye vācaṃ hṛdayadāraṇīm | sāntvaṃ vadanti kruddhā api te narāḥ svargagāminaḥ ||
الذين، حتى إذا ثار غضبهم، لا ينطقون بكلمات تمزّق القلب، بل يتكلمون بكلام مُسَكِّن مُصالِح ولو في حال السخط—يُقال إنهم يبلغون السماء. والمغزى الأخلاقي أن ضبط اللسان، ولا سيما عند الاستفزاز، علامةٌ على الدharma (الدارما) ويقود إلى مصيرٍ ميمون.
