धर्मनिन्दा–धर्मोपासनाफलम् तथा साध्वाचारलक्षणम्

संहिताध्यायिना भाव्य॑ गृहे वै गृहमेधिना । नित्यं स्वाध्यायिना भाव्यं न चाध्ययनजीविना

Transliteration

saṃhitādhyāyinā bhāvyaṃ gṛhe vai gṛhamedhinā | nityaṃ svādhyāyinā bhāvyaṃ na ca adhyayanajīvinā ||

Translation

قال مهيشفارا: «إنَّ ربَّ الأسرة، ما دام مقيمًا في بيته، ينبغي أن يكون دارسًا للـسَمْهِيتا وحافظًا لانضباط التعلّم. وليكن مواظبًا على السْفادْهْيَايَا يومًا بيوم، غيرَ أنّه لا يجعلُ العلمَ مجرّدَ وسيلةٍ للرزق».
