श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
Even while living at home, one should sustain oneself by ethically obtained food (here framed as bhaikṣya taken in a just and proper manner) and remain steadfast in obligatory daily rites—especially the thrice-daily Agnihotra—performed exactly according to scriptural rule.
Śrī Maheśvara is instructing on right conduct (dharma) and disciplined living: the listener is told to remain within one’s household order, accept sustenance without injustice or impropriety, and keep up the prescribed Vedic fire-offerings at the proper times.
