Śatarudrīya-prabhāva and Rudra’s Supremacy (शतरुद्रीयप्रभावः)
तत्र देवो गिरितटे दिव्यधातुविभूषिते
tatra devo giritaṭe divyadhātuvibhūṣite
هناك، على سفح جبلٍ مُزدانٍ ببَهاءِ المعادن العجيبة، كان الكائن الإلهي حاضرًا—مُمَهِّدًا لمشهد لقاءٍ مقدّس في موضعٍ موسومٍ بنقاء الطبيعة وبشائر اليُمن.
नारद उवाच
The verse primarily establishes a sacred, elevated setting: divinity is associated with purity and auspicious natural spaces. Ethically, it frames the forthcoming discourse or event as occurring in a place conducive to dharmic insight and reverence.
Nārada describes the scene: a divine figure is situated on a mountainside glittering with extraordinary mineral riches, preparing the listener for a significant meeting or revelation in a sanctified landscape.
