ब्राह्मणपूजायां व्युष्टिः — Vyuṣṭi (Merit-Outcome) of Honoring Brāhmaṇas: Kṛṣṇa and Durvāsā
वर्धयन्तस्तथैवान्ये पूजयन्तस्तथापरे । वाम्भिक्रग्भूषितार्थाभि: स्तुवन्तो मधुसूदनम्
vardhayantas tathaivānye pūjayantas tathāpare | vāmbhikragbhūṣitārthābhiḥ stuvanto madhusūdanam |
فمنهم من قدّم كلمات التهنئة وزاد في تعظيم شأنه، ومنهم من عبده وأثنى عليه. وآخرون زيّنوا كلامهم بآياتٍ ذات معنى من الرِّغفيدا، فأنشدوا تراتيل في مدح مدهوسودانا—مُظهرين التبجيل بالبركة والتكريم الطقسي والثناء المستند إلى النصوص المقدسة.
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse highlights dhārmic reverence: honoring the worthy can take multiple legitimate forms—congratulation, worship, and scriptural praise—showing that devotion is expressed through both heartfelt respect and Vedic, meaning-rich speech.
Vāyudeva describes a scene where different groups respond to Madhusūdana (Kṛṣṇa) by honoring him in varied ways: some offer felicitations, some perform acts of worship, and others recite meaningful Ṛgvedic verses to extol him.
