अयं च काल: सम्प्राप्तो दुर्लभो ज्ञातिबान्धवै: । शास्ता च न हि नः कश्ित् त्वामृते पुरुषर्षभ,पुरुषप्रवर! हमारे बन्धु-बान्धवोंको यह दुर्लभ अवसर प्राप्त हुआ है। हमारे लिये आपके सिवा दूसरा कोई समस्त धर्मोका उपदेश करनेवाला नहीं है
ayaṃ ca kālaḥ samprāpto durlabho jñātibāndhavaiḥ | śāstā ca na hi naḥ kaścit tvām ṛte puruṣarṣabha ||
لقد حضر هذا الوقت الآن—وهو نادر عسير المنال لذوينا وأقربائنا. ولنا، حقًّا، لا مُعلِّم غيرك، يا ثور الرجال، يبلّغ تعليم الدارما كاملًا.
युधिछिर उवाच
Dharma-instruction is portrayed as a rare, time-sensitive opportunity, and the verse emphasizes reliance on a uniquely qualified teacher whose guidance is indispensable for understanding and practicing comprehensive dharma.
Yudhiṣṭhira addresses an eminent elder/authority, stating that a rare occasion has come for their family to receive instruction, and that apart from this person there is no one else capable of teaching them the full scope of dharma.
