Educational Q&A

The verse uses ecological renewal as a moral-narrative sign: when conditions become favorable again, life and harmony return—suggesting restoration after disruption and the re-emergence of auspicious order.

Bhishma describes a mountain returning to its former vitality: flowering vines and trees reappear, birds fill it with sound, and wild animals and serpents become active again, indicating a revived, living landscape.
