ब्राह्मणपूजायां व्युष्टिः — Vyuṣṭi (Merit-Outcome) of Honoring Brāhmaṇas: Kṛṣṇa and Durvāsā
सोअनि्निर्ददाह तं शैलं सद्रुमं सलताक्षुपम् । सपक्षिमृगसंघातं सश्वापदसरीसूपम्
so 'gnir dadāha taṁ śailaṁ sa-drumaṁ sa-latākṣupam | sa-pakṣi-mṛga-saṅghātaṁ sa-śvāpad-sarīsṛpam ||
قال بهيشما: لقد أحرقت تلك النار الجبل—بأشجاره ومتسلّقاته وأدغاله؛ وبأسراب طيوره وقطعان غزلانه؛ وبوحوشه الضارية وأفاعيه.
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights that divine potency (tejas) becomes irresistible when aligned with disciplined vow (vrata-caryā) and dharmic intent: it purifies and overcomes all obstacles, even at a cosmic scale.
A fire manifests and burns a mountain along with its vegetation and creatures. This fire is described as the radiance of Nārāyaṇa, emerging from Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s lotus-like mouth and appearing in the form of Agni.
