This line is not a doctrinal verse but a colophon. Its function is to frame the teaching by locating it within the Mahābhārata’s ethical instruction on dāna-dharma (the duty and principles of giving), attributed here to Lomaśa’s ‘rahasya’ discourse.
The chapter ends. The text formally announces the completion of the 129th chapter within the Anuśāsana Parva’s dāna-dharma section, identifying the sub-topic as Lomaśa’s ‘secret teaching’ (rahasya).
