Forest-Stage Discipline and Austerity
एवमेव समुद्दिष्ट: श्राद्धकालक्रमस्तथा । विधि: पात्र फलं चैव यथावदनुकीर्तितम्
evameva samuddiṣṭaḥ śrāddhakālakramas tathā | vidhiḥ pātra-phalaṃ caiva yathāvad anukīrtitam ||
قال شَكرا (Śakra): «وهكذا قد بُيِّن ترتيب الأوقات اللائق لإقامة الشْرَادْدْهَ (śrāddha)؛ كما وُصِفَت على وجهها الصحيح الطريقةُ، والمستحقّون لتلقّي القربان (pātra)، والثمارُ المترتّبة عليه وصفًا تامًّا.»
शक्र उवाच
That śrāddha should be performed with correctness: the right timing, the prescribed procedure, suitable recipients (pātra), and an understanding that merit (phala) follows when the rite is done properly.
Śakra (Indra) concludes or summarizes an instruction: he states that the schedule for śrāddha, along with its rules, eligible recipients, and the resulting benefits, has been fully explained.
