रहस्यमद्भुतं चापि पृष्टा: सम गगनेचर । एतदेव प्रशंसन्ति देवाश्न मुन॒यस्तथा
rahasyam adbhutaṃ cāpi pṛṣṭāḥ sma gagane-cara | etad eva praśaṃsanti devāś ca munayas tathā ||
قال الرسولُ السماوي: «يا من يجوب السماء، لقد سُئِلنا حقًّا عن أمرٍ عجيبٍ مستور. وهذه التعاليم بعينها يمدحها الآلهةُ والحكماءُ كذلك.» وفي السياق، يُصوِّر البيتُ السؤالَ على أنه سرٌّ عميق من أسرار الدَّرما—تُقرّه السلطاتُ العليا—فيحثّ على توقير شعائر الأسلاف المقرَّرة والواجب الأخلاقي في إكرام الأجداد.
