Dāna–Tapaḥ Praśaṃsā and Gṛhastha-Upadeśa
Maitreya
ते5पि यस्मात् प्रभावेण हता: क्षत्रियपुंगवा: । सम्प्राप्तास्ते गतिं पुण्यां तस्मान्मा शोच पुत्रक
te 'pi yasmāt prabhāveṇa hatāḥ kṣatriya-puṅgavāḥ | samprāptās te gatiṁ puṇyāṁ tasmān mā śoca putraka ||
قال بيشما: «إن أولئك السادة من الكشاتريا الذين قُتلوا بفضل بأسه قد نالوا هم أيضًا مصيرًا طاهرًا. لذلك، يا بُنيّ، لا تحزن. فمن يهب حياته في ساحة القتال، في نداء الكشاتريا، تعترف التقاليد له بمسارٍ رفيع بعد الموت؛ وكذلك المحاربون العظام الذين سقطوا في هذا الميدان، مُظهرين قوتهم، قد بلغوا حالًا ذا ثواب—فلا يليق الحزن عليهم».
