मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
सदा द्वादशमासांस्तु जुह्दानो जातवेदसम् | अलुब्ध: सत्यवादी च ब्रह्मण्यश्वाविहिंसक:
sadā dvādaśa-māsāṁs tu juhvāno jātavedasam | alubdhaḥ satyavādī ca brahmaṇyaś cāvihiṁsakaḥ ||
قال بهيشما: «من كان طوال اثني عشر شهراً يواظب على صبّ القرابين في النار المقدّسة، أغني (جاتافيداس)، وكان غير طمّاع، صادقَ القول، موقّراً للبراهمة وللنظام الفيدي، غيرَ عنيف—فذلك هو الذي تتجسّد فيه سمات السلوك القويم.»
