मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity

सुखेष्वभिरतो भोगी दुःखानामविजानक: । दिव्यमाला, दिव्यवस्त्र, दिव्यगन्ध और दिव्य अनुलेपन धारण करके वह भोगकी शक्ति और साधनसे सम्पन्न हो सुख-भोगमें ही रत रहता है। दुःखोंका उसे कभी अनुभव नहीं होता है

sukheṣv abhirato bhogī duḥkhānām avijānakaḥ | divyamālāṃ divyavastraṃ divyagandhaṃ ca divyānulepanaṃ dhārayitvā sa bhogaśakti-sādhana-sampannaḥ sukha-bhogeṣv eva rataḥ | duḥkhāni tasya kadācana na anubhavanti |

قال بهيشما: منغمسًا في اللذّات يبقى المتمتّع غافلًا عن المعاناة. متزيّنًا بإكليلٍ سماويّ، وثيابٍ سماويّة، وعطرٍ سماويّ، وأدهانٍ سماويّة، ومزوّدًا بقوّة التمتّع ووسائله، لا يلازم إلا خبرة اللذّة؛ فلا يدخل الألم في إحساسه.
