नरेश्वर! ब्राह्मणोंकी पूजा, देवताओंको नमस्कार और गुरुजनोंको प्रणाम स्नानके बाद ही करने चाहिये ।।
Nareśvara! brāhmaṇānāṁ pūjā, devatānāṁ namaskāraḥ, gurujanānāṁ praṇāmaś ca snānād eva kartavyaḥ. Animantrito na gacchet yajñaṁ gacchet darśakaḥ. Anarcite hānāyuṣyaṁ gamanaṁ tatra, Bhārata.
قال بهيشما: «أيها الملك، إن عبادة البراهمة، وتقديم التحية للآلهة، والانحناء للمعلمين والكبار لا تكون إلا بعد الاغتسال. ولا يذهب المرء إلى مكانٍ من غير دعوة؛ غير أنه يجوز أن يذهب إلى القربان (اليَجْنَا) بغير دعوة لمجرد المشاهدة. يا بهاراتا، إن الذهاب إلى موضعٍ لا يُكرَم فيه المرء يُنقِص من عمره.»
