Restraint through the Analysis of Karma and Time
वैशम्पायन उवाच इत्येतद् वचन श्रुत्व बभूव विगतज्वर: । युधिष्ठिरो महातेजा: पप्रच्छेद॑ च धर्मवित्
vaiśampāyana uvāca | ity etad vacanaṃ śrutvā babhūva vigatajvaraḥ | yudhiṣṭhiro mahātejāḥ papraccha ca dharmavit ||
قال فايشامبايانا: لما سمع يودهيشثيرا—المتألق المجد، العارف بالدارما—تلك الكلمات، زال عنه حُمّى القلق في باطنه، ثم عاد يسأل من جديد.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Right counsel grounded in dharma calms mental turmoil; once anxiety subsides, a ruler can inquire clearly and proceed ethically.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that after hearing Bhīṣma’s words, Yudhiṣṭhira’s worry is relieved and he resumes questioning, continuing the dharma-instruction sequence.
