ययातेर्वानप्रस्थतपःस्वर्गारोहणम् | Yayāti’s Vānaprastha Austerities and Ascent to Heaven
वहस्व भार्या धर्मेण देवयानीं सुमध्यमाम् | अनया सह सम्प्रीतिमतुलां समवाप्लुहि,तुम सुन्दरी देवयानीको धर्मपूर्वक अपनी पत्नी बनाओ और इसके साथ रहकर अतुल सुख एवं प्रसन्नता प्राप्त करो
vahasva bhāryāṃ dharmeṇa devayānīṃ sumadhyamām | anayā saha samprītim atulāṃ samavāpluhi ||
قال شُكرا: «اقبل ديفاياني—رشيقة الخصر، جديرة—زوجةً لك وفق الدارما. وعِش معها، وبهذا الاتحاد تنل فرحًا لا يُضاهى ورضًا متبادلاً».
