Chapter 74: Non-anger, Forbearance, and the Ethics of Residence
राजन सत्य परं ब्रह्म सत्यं च समय: पर: । मा त्याक्षी: समयं राजन् सत्यं संगतमस्तु ते,राजन! सत्य परब्रह्म परमात्माका स्वरूप है। सत्य सबसे बड़ा नियम है। अतः महाराज! आप अपनी सत्य प्रतिज्ञाको न छोड़िये। सत्य आपका जीवनसंगी हो
rājan satyaṁ paraṁ brahma satyaṁ ca samayaḥ paraḥ | mā tyākṣīḥ samayaṁ rājan satyaṁ saṅgatam astu te ||
قال دُشيَنتا: «أيها الملك، الصدق هو البراهمان الأسمى؛ والصدق هو العهد الأعلى. فلا تترك عهدك ولا تنقض كلمتك، أيها الملك. ولتكن الحقيقة ملازمةً لك، قرينةً لا تفارقك.»
