असावादित्यसंकाशो विश्वामित्रो महातपा: । तप्यमानस्तपो घोरं मम कम्पयते मन:,“मेनके! अप्सराओंके जो दिव्य गुण हैं, वे तुममें सबसे अधिक हैं। कल्याणि! तुम मेरा भला करो और मैं तुमसे जो बात कहता हूँ, सुनो। वे सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी, महातपस्वी विश्वामित्र घोर तपस्यामें संलग्न हो मेरे मनको कम्पित कर रहे हैं

Transliteration

asāv ādityasaṅkāśo viśvāmitro mahātapāḥ | tapyamānas tapo ghoraṃ mama kampayate manaḥ ||

Translation

قال كانفا: «إن ذلك فيشفاميترا—المتألّق كالشمس، العظيم في التقشّف—قد انصرف الآن إلى رياضةٍ قاسية، فزلزل قلبي. يا ميناكا، إن محاسن الأبساراس الإلهية تجتمع فيكِ أكثر من غيرك. يا مباركة، اصنعي ما فيه نفعٌ لي، واصغي لما أقول.»
