वंशानुकीर्तनम् — Genealogical Recitation from Dakṣa to Yayāti and the Establishment of the Paurava Line
देवतायतनानां च प्रेक्ष्य पूजां कृतां द्विजै: । ब्रह्मलोकस्थमात्मानं मेने स नृपसत्तम:,द्विजोंद्वारा की हुई देवालयोंकी पूजा-पद्धति देखकर नृपश्रेष्ठ दुष्यन्तने ऐसा समझा कि मैं ब्रह्मलोकमें आ पहुँचा हूँ
devatāyatanānāṁ ca prekṣya pūjāṁ kṛtāṁ dvijaiḥ | brahmalokastham ātmānaṁ mene sa nṛpasattamaḥ ||
ولمّا رأى العبادة في معابد الآلهة وقد أداها «ذوو الميلادين» على وجهها، ظنّ ذلك الملك الأفضل (دُشيَنتا) أنّه قد بلغ برهمالوكـا (عالم براهما)، إذ بدا له المشهد ساميًا مطهّرًا.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Properly performed worship and the presence of disciplined ritual specialists (dvijas) can transform a place into an experience of the divine; reverence and right conduct elevate perception and cultivate humility even in a king.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that King Duṣyanta, upon witnessing Brahmins conducting temple worship according to established rites, feels such sanctity and splendor that he believes he has reached Brahmaloka.
