तस्मात् त्वं किल्बिषी धर्म शूद्रयोनौ जनिष्यसि । तेन शापेन धर्मोडपि शूद्रयोनावजायत,(तुमने मुझे शूलीपर चढ़वाकर वही पाप किया है) इसलिये तुम पापी हो। अतः पृथ्वीपर शूद्रकी योनिमें तुम्हें जन्म लेना पड़ेगा।/ अणीमाण्डव्यके उस शापसे धर्म भी शूद्रकी योनिमें उत्पन्न हुए
tasmāt tvaṃ kilbiṣī dharma śūdrayonau janiṣyasi | tena śāpena dharmo 'pi śūdrayonāv ajāyata ||
لذلك، يا دارما، إنك حقًّا قد تلطّختَ بالإثم؛ وستُولَد في رحمِ شُودرا. وبهذه اللعنة عينِها وُلِد دارما أيضًا في رحمِ شُودرا—لأنك تسبّبتَ في أن أُخْزَق على الخازوق، فارتكبتَ بذلك الجُرمَ نفسه.
दाश उवाच
Even an authority associated with justice is accountable for harm done through wrongful judgment; ethical failure brings consequences, and a curse functions here as a moral mechanism linking action to result.
The speaker condemns Dharma for causing his impalement and declares a curse: Dharma must take birth in a Śūdra womb. The verse also notes the outcome—Dharma indeed becomes incarnate through such a birth (traditionally connected with Dharma’s later birth as Vidura).
