सर्पसत्रे ऋत्विजः सदस्याश्च — Officiants and Assembly at Janamejaya’s Serpent-Sacrifice

ववृधे स तु तत्रैव नागराजनिवेशने । वेदांश्नाधिजगे साड्रान्‌ भार्गवाच्च्यवनान्मुने:,वह वहीं नागराजके भवनमें बढ़ने लगा। बड़े होनेपर उसने भृगुकुलोत्पन्न च्यवन मुनिसे छहों अंगोंसहित वेदोंका अध्ययन किया

vavṛdhe sa tu tatraiva nāgarāja-niveśane | vedān ṣaḍ-aṅgān adhijage sādrān bhārgavāc cyavanān muneḥ ||

وهناك، في مسكن ملك الناغا نفسه، نشأ وترعرع. فلما بلغ أشدَّه، درس الفيدات مع علومها المساندة الستة دراسةً تامة، وتلقّاها على يد الحكيم تشْيَفَنَة من سلالة بهْرِغو.
