इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत आदिपरव्वके अन्तर्गत आस्तीकपर्वरमें वायुकि-जरत्कारु- समागमसम्बन्धी छियालीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārata ādiparva-ke antargata āstīkaparvaṇi vāyuki-jaratkāru-samāgama-sambandhī ṣaṭcatvāriṃśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ

Translation

وهكذا تنتهي الفصل السادس والأربعون من قسم آستِيكا (Āstīka) الواقع ضمن الآدي بَرفا (Ādi Parva) من «شري مهابهاراتا»، وفيه وُصِف لقاء فايُوكي (Vāyuki) وجاراتكارو (Jaratkāru) واتحادهما. وهذه الخاتمة (الكولوفون) تُعلن انتقالًا في مجرى السرد، وتؤكد كيف تُشكِّل التحالفاتُ المشروعة واللقاءاتُ في أوانها انبثاقَ القدر وحمايةَ السلالة.
