इस प्रकार श्रीमह्या भारत आदिपव॑के अन्तर्गत आस्तीकपवर्में गरुडचरित्रविषयक चौतीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraṃ Śrīmahābhārate Ādiparvaṇi antar-gate Āstīkaparvaṇi Garuḍa-caritra-viṣayakaś catuḥtriṃśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ.
وهكذا، في «المهابهارتا» الموقَّرة، ضمن «آدي پرفا»—وخاصةً في «آستيكا پرفا»—يُختَتَم الفصل الرابع والثلاثون، المتعلّق بسرد سيرة غارودا. وتشير هذه الخاتمة (الكولوفون) إلى انتقالٍ في الإطار الأخلاقي الأوسع للملحمة، حيث تُبرز أخبار الكائنات الإلهية والعهود قوة العزم، وعواقب العداوة، وصون الدارما عبر التقليد المحفوظ في الذاكرة والمتوارَث.
