Garuḍa’s Assault on the Devas and the Fire-Barrier (अमृत-रक्षा-युद्धम्)
इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत आदिपव॑के अन्तर्गत आस्तीकपवरें गरुडचरित्रविषयक सत्ताईसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārata ādiparvake antargata āstīkaparvaṇi garuḍacaritraviṣayaka saptaviṁśatitamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
وهكذا تنتهي السورة—أي الفصل السابع والعشرون—من حكاية غارودا ضمن قسم آستِيكا من الآدي پرفا في «شري مهابهاراتا» الموقَّر. وهذه الخاتمة (الكولوفون) تُثبت تمام وحدةٍ من السرد، وتُشير إلى الانتقال إلى الجزء التالي من الإطار الأخلاقي والنسبي للملحمة.
