Gajakacchapa-ākhyāna Prelude
इस प्रकार श्रीमयह़्ा भातत आदिपव॑के अन्तर्गत आस्तीकपव॑र्में गरुडचरित्रविषयक चौबीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraḥ Śrīmahābhārata Ādiparva-ke antargata Āstīkaparva-meṃ Garuḍa-caritra-viṣayaka caturviṃśatitam adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ abhavat.
وهكذا ينتهي الفصل الرابع والعشرون، في خبر غارودا (Garuḍa)، ضمن قسم آستِيكا (Āstīka) من الآدي بارفا (Ādi Parva) في «المهابهاراتا» الموقَّرة. وهذه الخاتمةُ (الكولوفون) تُعلن تمامَ وحدةٍ سردية، وتدعو السامع إلى التأمل في كيف تُصاغ الأفعالُ النموذجية ونتائجُها بوصفها عِبرةً أخلاقية ضمن البناء الأوسع للملحمة، القائم على الدارما (dharma).
